DOES THIS CONSTITUTE A START ?

Got a letter from our next door neighbour asking if we would be willing to pay for half the cost of building a fence between our properties.

They are asking because they noticed that a water tap had been installed late last week and they are assuming that construction will be commencing soon and do not want the builders looking in at them.

So the question that we ask ourselves does this tap constitute a commencement to construction? We hope so!

The Bank has told us that they have valued our construction cost and will not finance the full amount because according to their valuer a lot of the extras that we are including will not add the equivalent value to the building!

Of course we disagree but hey what can you do? Fortunately we have enough savings to cover the difference.

We were to go in to select colours on Friday but this has now been postponed to Tuesday.

Getting very tired of the lack of action from the builders.
