MORE STUFF-2

Merbau cladding to alfresco ceiling

View of alfresco from living area

View through kitchen bi-folds

Visited site yesterday and met SS to discuss positioning of additional noggins for grab rails in wet areas and toilets. This was my first time to actually walk (wheel) through the house. Up until this time I have had to be content with viewing proceedings from the street and it has been up to Aam to check things more closely and record progress!

I must say that it has given me a much better perspective on the size of rooms in relation to one another the most noticeable being how big the kitchen is (bigger than the home theatre!) and how big the living/dining room is, I'm not looking forward to furnishing it!

While I was there the chippies were finishing the Merbau cladding to the alfresco ceiling which I think is now looking great. SS gave me a quick update on how he sees work progressing from here:-
  1. Today A/C rough in by Advantage Air
  2. Thursday electrician will commence
  3. Next week Pre Plaster inspection by Kevin from New Home Inspections
  4. 2-3 weeks rendering & Stack stone feature to facade
  5. 2-3 weeks plastering to commence
  6. Expected completion conservatively late September
